I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood from Lee University in Cleveland, TN.

I hold a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA.

I continue to update my skills through regularly attending and participating in physical education and professional development courses to remain highly qualified.

This is my 25th year at Fairmount Elementary School. I have taught Physical Education since 2004. I have also taught grades second, third, and fourth.

And yes, I now teach many of your children.

I look forward to teaching your child in Physical Education. I hope to learn as much from them as they learn with me. I would like to share a few personal things about myself and about my preparations and enthusiasm for teaching.

My hometown is Summerville, GA. I attended public school, graduated from Chattooga High School in 1980, and worked several mill jobs before attending Walker Area Technical School.

I attended Lee College in Cleveland, TN. After college, I taught one year at a private Christian school in Nassau Bahamas.

I began teaching at FES in 1990. I moved to Calhoun/Gordon County in 1991. In 1999, I moved back to Rome, where I currently reside.

In 2002, I received a Master's Degree from Kennesaw State University.
