Fairmount Elementary School is a GREAT school!  I have been teaching here since 1997  I started out in Pre-Kindergarten and have taught 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 4th grade EIP.  I have been teaching Special Education since 2001.  Over the years, I have taught in all grade levels and in practically every subject.

I graduated from Judson College in Illinois with a degree in Elementary Education.  I earned my Master's Degree in Special Education from Kennesaw State University.  I have also earned a Math Endorsement. I am highly qualified to teach PK-5 in all areas as well as math and social sciences in 6-8.  However, my passion is working with elementary students.

My family lives in Calhoun on 15 acres.    My husband, Joseph, works as an account manager for an industrial Heat & Air company.  JD is 14 and in the 9th grade.  He went to elementary school at Fairmount and is now at Sonoraville High School.  Jarrett is 3 and attends the Northwest Georgia Christian Academy in Calhoun, but I can't wait for him to start coming to school with me.

Life is pretty busy with work, school, church, and just plain living.  However, I really enjoy my job and pray that I will positively impact the children's lives that I touch every day.
