I obtained my Early Childhood Education Degree and Reading Endorsement at Kennesaw State University, where I graduated with honors. I obtained my Master Degree in Reading Instruction through the University of West Georgia. I am a certified Reading Specialist in the state of Georgia for grades K-12. I hold a T-5 certification and am highly qualified to teach your child.

I performed my student teaching in Kindergarten in Bartow County, and then held long term substitute positions in Kindergarten, and Fourth Grade for two years at Adairsville Elementary. I then took a position with Georgia Pre-K, and taught for two years in Bartow County. I am so excited to be a Kindergarten Teacher at Fairmount Elementary School this year!

I am married, have four children, three stepchildren, and an adorable little dog named Boston. I live in Calhoun, but am originally from Ellijay, Georgia. I spent many of my younger years working with my family at the Apple Festival, and love making candles. I like to spend time with my family, love to travel, love Disney World, and I am an avid writer.
